Camellia Poem

Against the harsh winter air and the deepening of snow
The camellia flows in the breeze
And freezes under layers of ice

Struggling to stay alive
Huddling together for safety and heat
Staying out of the way of the passing

From the depth of the snow they strive
They are pale and dying
Being poisoned from the air

They will soon die with their children by their side
Caring and crying for the safety of their children
Sitting, being chilled and starved, waiting for peace
