This summer, I was lucky enough to be a part of an exchange program, where I went to France for a month to experience the culture and be emerged in the language. While in France, I took the opportunity to practice photography. We went to many great places that were incredibly beautiful. We were mostly in Grenoble, but we went for hikes close to where we were and one day we went to a waterfall. While I was taking pictures I couldn’t help but think that I wasn’t doing the scenery justice. To get better at photography next year during school I plan to do a photography IDS (Independent Directed Study). During this time I will be researching and practicing different settings and themes as well as creating a photography course for my school. My goal for the next school year is to vastly increase my knowledge and experience in photography.
